The following is a list of episodes from the fourth season of PBS ''Mister Rogers' Neighborhood'', which aired in 1971. ==Episode 1== King Friday feels that babies are getting too much attention and on Prince Tuesday, he tries to limit such attention from to one hour a day. * Aired on February 15, 1971. * This is the first series episode to use the proper and acceptable "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" title. The previous three seasons had it spelled as "Misterogers' Neighborhood". * This is the first episode to use "The Weekend Song" on Fridays as the closing song. * This is the first episode where the porch of Rogers' television house was updated to a set that ran for the rest of the series. * This is the first episode where the set of Rogers' television house was updated again. This time the wall was a little brighter yellow color and the wooden bottom panels were removed from the wall. Parts of the kitchen set were also updated. * This is the first episode where the set has Rogers' new window curtains which were used until the rest of the entire series. * This is the first episode where Roger's front door and closet door were updated. * Although National Educational Television ceased to exist as a public television network, the series was copyrighted for---and distributed for---NET until the end of the fourth season. The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) succeeded NET on October 5, 1970, and inherits everything that NET had, including Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. * This is the final episode featuring the NET building in the Neighborhood model. From Season 2 to the end of the series, the Neighborhood model includes a slightly different version of the building, which had been in the model in the first three seasons.
